Stupp's "turnkey" approach to business has resulted in some unprecedented successes. For instance, Stupp has delivered coated pipe as far away as Australia and to stocking locations inland from the port. Stupp personnel monitor the critical stages of these "turnkey" operations, including transporting, loading, unloading and final inspection.
Bayou Coating, LLC., one of the most modern pipe coating facility in the United States, is situated adjacent to the Stupp pipe-making operation. The Port of Greater Baton Rouge is located approximately 8 miles from the Stupp plant. Bayou Coating, LLC., the port and Stupp cooperatively integrate their capabilities to provide our customers with cost-effective, on-time delivery and performance.
Stupp works with its customers to eliminate redundancies, inefficiencies and identify areas that can be improved. For instance, Stupp now handles customer's inquiries electronically, works with customers to discuss financing options and we are currently investigating real-time electronic pipeline monitoring services.
Information
Stupp has invested in the latest processes and equipment in order to provide our customers with information interfacing options. Our in-house Information Systems (IS) Department is adept at responding to our customer's information interfacing situations and capabilities.
